Richly Illuminated manuscript of King Charles II of Spain (1661-1700). Valldolid, 26 June 1668, on fine Vellum. 27 lines of beautifully executed Spanish calligraphy in dark brown ink. Signed by the Scribe of the Royal Court and dated with the official stamp of King Charles II, dated 1668. The entire text block surrounded in a red and gold outline. On the verso there are 27 lines of text surrounded in gold and red. A Spanish manuscript of a very high quality written in the name of the young King Charles and his mother Mariana of Austria, granting a Coat of Arms to Pedro Arias de Duenas from Valderas in the province of Leon. On finely prepared, thin Vellum. Size: 303 x 208 mm.
