Inscription

Bears the name Dionysius.

Notes

- Alan Cole. Bread stamps were used by both Greek and Roman bakers to stamp the name of te purchaser, a god, an emperor or even a slogan into a loaf of bread, much as 'HOVIS' is today.

The second line of this stamp reads 'DYMIONIS..'.
