This is a drawing on blue paper by Ruskin of women in the fish market in Boulogne that he drew while on his 1866 Grand Tour. It was also the first journey on which Connie Hilliard accompanied him The sketch was given by Ruskin to Connie, and I found it in Connie's diary for that year. The diary provides the foundation for my book _Ruskin and the Hilliards_.
